A YEAR IN NATURE
An artistic journey into the rhythm of the seasons
A Year in Nature is a multidisciplinary project by three independent artists from different fields, diving deep into Finnish nature – physically, artistically and experientially. Through dance, circus and video art, the work brings the movement, rhythm and sensitivity of nature into visible and tangible form.
Following the cycle of the seasons, the project unfolds into a series of performances that will culminate in a full-length stage production, A Year in Nature, in 2027. In workshops and outdoor performances, audiences are invited to experience the connection between body and nature and to pause in its presence – in the heart of the city or on its edges.
A Year in Nature is a tribute to the richness and beauty of Finnish nature – a quiet yet powerful statement for the environment, reminding us of nature's fragility, presence and significance to us all.

Field of Fiber
The interdisciplinary contemporary circus performance Field of fiber creatively combines circus, dance and textile art. The work draws inspiration from various textiles and their use as part of a contemporary circus performance. Textiles act as storytellers of the performance and lead to different moods with their characteristic movement. The work uses textiles in a variety of ways as part of the stage image, and combines them and the circus into one movement.
The aim is to create strong visual images by combining different textiles as part of the movement. At the same time, the idea is to blur or emphasize the human body.
Coming in 2026
