Ilona Jääski – Circus Artist Miss Mirjam

I'm Ilona Jääski, a circus artist originally from Karelia and currently based in Tampere, Finland. My Karelian roots are an essential part of who I am – cheerful, talkative, and deeply people-oriented. What started as a childhood hobby has grown over the years into a profession that has brought me meaningful encounters, joy, and the courage to take creative leaps.

My specialties include hula hoops, aerial acrobatics, and creating genuine interaction with the audience. I have performed widely in theatres, festivals, and street art events – both as a solo artist and as part of various productions. Throughout my career, I've taken part in numerous collaborations and created my own performances that blend circus, theatre, and storytelling.

In all my work, I aim to share professionalism, a deep love for circus, and the sincere joy of performing.
